Save on fall & holiday arrivals at Moxie
On-trend East Burnside boutique Moxie has received boxes and boxes of fall and holiday dresses, hats, sweaters, denim and more from local and independent designers. With so many sweet packages to unwrap, the Moxie gals are saying it feels like Christmas already.
Some of our favorite finds include one-of-a-kind recycled jackets from Bella Sisters (left), crafted in Portland from reclaimed wool, lace, silk and batik and embellished with hand-sewn appliqués of cute, lovable things like birds and owls and whimsical woodland creatures.
We also love the mod little dresses from Portland designer Katherine McConnell, who crafts a complete line of really cute and wearable dresses, jackets, skirts, jewelry and scarves. We love her J.O. Dress, a very Jackie ’60s-inspired knee-length dress with a high collar and covered buttons down the front, available at Moxie in teal (right).
The shop also is unwrapping new sweaters from Flo, Kersh and Alternative Apparel; denim from Level 99, Moto and Divine Rights of Denim; cute-n-clunky boots from J Shoes (left); tons of different hat styles from Flood, Brixton, San Diego Hat Company, and Pistil of Hood River; “Tuff Cuffs” wrist cuffs by Loly Arts; and Shrinky Dink jewelry from Passionflower.
