Sustainable Portland fashion designer Emily Katz also is a talented musician, innovative artist and all-around sweetie-pie. Her collections evolve as consistently as her many talents, so it’s exciting to imagine what she has up her flirty organic sleeves next. Find out this Friday, Sept. 25 when Portland Fashion Synergy presents Katz’s new spring collection, along with other designers from Portland and China, at FUSE: A Black Tie Fashion Fundraiser to be held at the Portland Art Museum.
Portland designers were featured at the Spring 2009 China Fashion Week, so Portland Fashion Synergy is now reciprocating with the fashion affair. Featured lines in the FUSE show include Portland-based designers Katz, MAYTEE, and the men’s line Defyance; and a collaborative collection by others. Featured Chinese designers include Cathaya, Cui Wei and Chong Jian.
