New York City swimwear designer Malia Mills will make a splash in Portland next week! Lille Boutique will host a two-day Malia Mills Swimwear trunk show + party, 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Thursday, May 6 and 2 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Friday, May 7.
Sarah Wizemann, lingerie designer and owner of Lille Boutique, is a fan of Malia Mills for the same reason we ourselves love Lille boutique: Both women share a goal of outfitting women of all shapes and sizes in beautiful, comfortable intimates that compliment the natural shape and make us feel good about ourselves. That’s not always an easy task when it comes to body-bearing swimwear and lingerie, but these gals succeed in spades.
Mills and her sister will accept private fitting appointments on both Thursday and Friday, and anyone who makes an appointment will save $50 on the suit of her choice – not to mention getting the priceless value of having a professional swimwear designer help you find the right fit.
Then, in conjunction with First Friday, Lille will stay open late Friday night for an in-store party and meet-n-greet with Mills. You’ll learn about the origins and inspiration for her brand, browse the latest swimwear and also shop for luxe lingerie, hosiery, sleepwear, jewelry, art and gifts. Lille has a cool stash of goods right now from Stella McCartney, Eres, AK Vintage, Rosapois, Nina Ricci, Only Hearts, Sonia Rykiel, Elle MacPherson Boudoir, Timpa and Wundervoll.
