Join The Red Light’s Co-Ed Naked Shopping Spree

Calling all exhibitionists! The Red Light Clothing Exchange is suiting up (or down, rather) for its second annual Co-Ed Naked Shopping Spree on Sunday, Feb. 21. Finally – it’s your big chance to flash and dash!

Four contestants (two men and two women) will be chosen in a random drawing from all customers who spend $20 or more at The Red Light by this Friday, Feb. 12. Then, at 5 p.m on Sunday, Feb. 21, they’ll strip down to their bare bananas and have three minutes to run through the 7,500-square-foot store and put on as many clothes as possible – in front of a cheering crowd. Whoever pulls on the most garments wins everything on their body, plus a $100 Red Light gift card.

Live music from local bands will kick off the festivites at 2 p.m., and the crowd will be treated to snacks and door prizes all afternoon. “Some people are shy, but this is Portland,” said Ryan White, general manager at The Red Light. “A lot of people are excited about the opportunity to run around naked in public. And to win a lot of clothes.”

Wonder if we’ll be able to see exactly how excited they are?
