It’s the first ever Russell St. Holiday Festival!

Guess what! The Neat Sheet is a proud event sponsor for the very first time! We’re excited to get behind the first ever Russell Street Holiday Festival, a day-long party and shopping extravaganza to benefit p:ear, presented from noon to 8 p.m. at Portland’s stylish Icon Tattoo Studio on Saturday, Dec. 5.

Ever-inventive Icon owner Melanie Nead and her talented team of artists are taking advantage of their spacious new home on Russell Street, inviting vendors and shoppers to come on over and make merry.
The day’s highlights include a handmade craft bazaar, food vendors and a cash bar (with special Gingered Mint cocktails courtesy of neighboring bar Mint), holiday food demonstrations from Abby’s Table, Christmas carol sing-alongs, bicycle “sleigh” rides from PDX Pedicab, a silent auction and more. Whew. Preview the silent auction in advance here, and remember 100 percent of sale proceeds from all this merriment benefits p:ear, a local non-profit that mentors homeless youth.
But wait – we haven’t even gotten to the shopping yet! So many Portland artists and designers will be on hand to sell letterpress cards, designer clothing and jewelry, artisan jams and chocolates, ceramics, accessories and more.
Plus, The Neat Sheet is giving away free holiday gift goodie bags for the first 50 guests! Come early for your gift bag, stuffed with Missionary Chocolates and fashion treats, plus a 20 percent savings card good through Christmas at 10 of North Portland’s best boutiques.
