Physical Element, an inventive Pearl District source for urban and international designers, will team up with financial advisor Luna Jaffe and style consultant Dalene Neville to present “A Smart Women’s Evening of Financial Advice, Fashion and Fun,” 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 24.
Enjoy wine and light bites while getting some frank financial planning advice, and learn how to stretch your shopping budget by investing in trends that last. “One of the items women should have in their wardrobe is a great topper to throw on over their basic uniform,” said Jo Carter, owner of Physical Element. “Investing in a noteworthy piece that defines your personal statement is worth spending your money on. It should be an item that speaks to your personal style whether you find it in an independent boutique, resale shop, online or chain store.”
You can take the evening’s financial advice immediately and shop during the event for investment pieces, like this very cool wool ruffled Duse jacket from Groa ($249).
