Could you hear the collective laughter among stylish Oregon women when Vogue magazine went ape-nuts recently over Sorel’s furry winter Joan of Arctic boots?!
C’mon fashion pokies, we discovered Sorel ice ages ago. Northwest girls are born with a natural instinct for styling cute outfits around warm, waterproof boots, and we’re as likely to wear ‘em out to dinner as we are to shovel snow.
In fact, don’t we pretty much deserve a party celebrating our ability to make all-weather boots look so hot? (Ok, Sorel gets some credit, too). Anyway, how about a nice little apres-ski party, right in the middle of the work week? With hot cocoa and Butterscotch Schnapps!
Sorel invites us to join a party and trunk showing of warm, winter boots from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. this Wednesday, Dec. 2 at the Columbia Sportswear Flagship Store. Sorel will ply shoppers with cozy drinks and gourmet chocolates, and show off new winter footwear. Plus, you can enter to win a $500 Columbia shopping spree and other prizes.
