Tea in the Sahara trunk show at Bubble Boutique

Grab your sequined caftan (everybody owns at least one, right?) and bejeweled headscarf, because you’ve been invited to the “Tea in the Sahara” trunk show at Bubble Boutique. The party starts at 6 p.m. Thursday, June 24, so don’t be late dearies, as it’s quite unbecoming at this sort of event. At least that’s what we used to tell Mr. Wiggles and his stuffed animal friends back in the day.
Unlike our tea parties, however, this one promises to be a much more stylish time. The trunk show will feature some seriously swoon-worthy summer party dresses by San Francisco-based line Kirribilla (can you say wedding season?) and the latest bold glass cocktail rings by Tre. Particularly cool, for every ring purchased the eco-friendy NY-based line will plant a tree.
Even cooler, celebrated local makeup artist Fez Vartan of Fez Beauty will be on hand to offer free makeup consultations using the new Paul & Joe Beauté “Sahara” summer cosmetics collection. Learn how to make your skin sparkle like the desert while sipping special Sahara-inspired cocktails, and for every $100 you spend, you’ll be entered to win neat raffle prizes.
Oh and we just remembered: You don’t want to be late, not because it’s rude, but because the first 30 people to show up will receive a gift bag of goodies from Bubble, Fez Beauty and other local businesses. Cheerio!
