Earth Day deal: Coats for Cubs gives back to the critters
Buffalo Exchange, the popular chain of shops offering trendy new and used clothing and accessories, kicks kicked off its annual Coats for Cubs campaign on Sunday, Nov. 15.
Come to any Buffalo Exchange between Saturday and Earth Day (Thursday, April 22), and bring any real or faux fur clothing or accessories to benefit The Humane Society of the United States. Donations of fur apparel, trim and accessories such as hats, gloves and muffs will be used as bedding to provide comfort for orphaned and injured wildlife.

UPDATE FOR TUESDAY, MARCH 30, 2010: As Earth Day approaches, Buffalo Exchange has announced a new Don’t Trash Wildlife campaign and Dollar Day Sale. Select items will be on sale for exactly $1 all day Saturday, April 24, with all the proceeds going to benefit The Humane Society of the United States and three HSUS wildlife centers that resthat rescue and rehabilitate wild animals.
