Grayling Jewelry + Prairie at Pin-Me tonight
Tonight’s trunk show and sale event at Pin-Me Apparel on Mississippie Avenue is a style trifecta of unstoppable shopping. Darling local designer Katy Kippen of Grayling Jewelry will present her collections alongside new Northwest classic Prairie Underground at our favorite feminine-with-street-smarts boutique, 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 17.
Kippen said she’ll be showing and selling her jewelry at gifty price points ($25 and under) in colors to match Prairie Underground’s things, “plus all the sparkly, chunky styles for New Year’s.” We can’t get over Kippen’s gorgeous GlamRock Collection (above), a line featuring complex tangles of crystals, pretty stones and chains that look heavy, but are surprisingly lightweight to wear.
Also shop and save 10 percent on some of Prairie Underground’s signature items, including the Prairie Hoodie and long, Cloak Hoodies (right, shown in red as part of Prairie’s holiday collection), as well as holiday dresses and lots of leggings. Pin-Me Apparel owner Sally Schwartz said Prairie’s pieces are part of a traveling trunk show, so we also can expect to be surprised by some new colors and styles not seen previously at Pin-Me.
Can’t make it tonight? Pin-Me will make the Prairie Underground pieces available through the weekend, and Sole will host another Grayling Jewelry trunk show from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. this Saturday, Dec. 19.
