Huge annual summer sale at Imelda’s + Louie’s Shoes

One of our favorite summer activities is strolling the sunny streets of various neighborhoods, iced coffee and friends in tow, leisurely window shopping. What’s even better is when we happen to stumble upon huge sales on our journey. That is less likely these days, because given what we do we pretty much know all the sales happening in Portland on any given day.
While the element of surprise might be lost, it has been replaced with knowing where to go and when to stretch our shopping dollars the farthest. This week we will make sure our wandering takes us over to Hawthorne Boulevard to visit Imelda and Louie’s to scoop up some major shoe deals. From Thursday, June 24 to Sunday, July 4, you can save 20 to 70 percent on brands like Earth, Biviel, Frye, Dansko, Indigo and more during Imelda and Louie’s annual summer sale.
Thanks to its new online shop, we can plot our purchases in advance (or just buy ‘em online if we’re feeling lazy, but chances are we’re gonna want to soak up some sun). Thus far, we’ve narrowed it down to the subtly sparkly Kenneth Cole Reaction Gem Rocks ($58.95) sandals, and the stylish, yet office-appropriate Indigo Iliana ($69.95, right). Ooh, and we might need these hip green suede cutout Bronx Vanity sandals ($74.95), too.
