We’re big fans of rad summer sales, and it’s safe to say there is no one radder (er, more rad) than Radish Underground in downtown Portland. The streetwear style + accessories + gallery shop knows that part of being rad is being over-the-top, and their summer sale is certainly that. Prices are being slashed by a rad-tacualar 60 percent and there are tons of independent designers being thrown in to the savings fray.
Okay, we’ll lay off the Spiccoli-speak. We just get excited ‘bout our sales. You know how it is.
So here’s the straight dope: Spring/Summer garments from the talented folks at preloved, REIF, Feral Childe, SAFE Clothing, Suzabelle (right), Annie 50 and others are marked down as we speak, and knowing how crazy/sexy/cool this stuff is, you can bet your behind that the great selection they have now won’t be there for long.
The best boutique owners know that shopping is a visceral experience and Radish Underground is a real pro at making the somewhat frivolous act of purchasing a fun and mentally engaging experience. Step inside and you’ll see fabulous art on the walls, badass accessories displayed throughout, and us, hunched over the sale racks looking like Gollum after he’s spotted his preeciioous.
