If you’re not familiar with the Portland based line Sahlia Michelle Jewelry (named after the line’s equally ethereal designer), it’s high time you wised up. The best time to get acquainted with this locally made collection will be from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Monday, September 6 for the Sahlia Michelle Labor Day Sale happening at the Ford building in Southeast Portland.

The list of talented local jewelry designers in PDX is awesomely vast. What makes Sahlia Michelle stand out and sparkle in a sea of talent is the balance of high end looks and handmade care that is put in to each piece. Her jewelry consistently stops people dead in their tracks to “ooh” and “ahh.”

Personally, our favorite thing about Sahlia MIchelle jewelry is that it invokes a distinct wood nymph princess charm without the cheesy fairy feel. The line incorporates natural elements such as antlers and raw stones alongside hand pounded metal and silver chains. (P.S., Sahlia Michelle has just come out with a beyond gorgeous new bridal line, right).

The sale will encompass all last season samples, and will be priced between 25 percent and 50 percent markdowns on the original price. You’ll also be able to save 10 percent on every item online during this entire week. Just  enter “summersale” in the code prompt.
