This sale is too good to keep secret! More than 40 gifted Portland artists, designers and crafters are getting together for the fourth annual Secret Society Sale, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 29 at the Secret Society Ballroom.
Shop for truly impressive handmade, designer goods all gathered in one location – handmade clothing, jewelry, accessories, housewares and more. Just browsing through the colorful vendor photos and profiles on the Society’s Web site is enough to make you realize what a great opportunity it is to shop for such a variety of beautiful things in one shot.
Highlights include simple, handcrafted jewelry from Allium Designs (above); eco-friendly apparel and accessories from Woolie Originals (right); sterling silver jewelry from Tiny Forge; whimsical notecards and accessories from Sweet Bonny; vegan truffles from Missionary Chocolates; cute, crocheted hats from Knot Ugly; and so much more it just makes you darn proud of our city’s lovely creatives. And it makes you eager to shop!
Ten percent of sale proceeds will benefit Oregon Food Bank, and the first 200 guests to bring in non-perishable donations will receive goodie boxes. Plus, visit any of the following shops and restaurants that day and they’ll donate proceeds to Oregon Food Bank: Burgerville (locations on MLK Jr. Blvd., Ivanhoe or Hawthorne), Echo, Goldrush Coffee Bar, Mint, Miss Delta, Union Rose or the Secret Society Lounge.
