Moonlight shopping madness in Woodburn
“Moonlight Madness” pretty much sums it up. Wouldn’t you have to be a total nutjob in order to plan a trip to Woodburn Company Stores at 10 p.m. on Thanksgiving night? That’s total turkey tryptophan (TTT) coma time, isn’t it?? Then again, maybe you’d be crazy to miss it.
Getting a jump on Black Friday for the third year in a row, all 90 of Woodburn’s outlet stores will open at 10 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 26, offering sales, deals and discounts all night long. Stores including Kenneth Cole, BCBG Max Azria, Calvin Klein, Lucky Brand, J. Crew, North Face, Coach and more will offer bargains more insane than YOU. The shopping event draws so many customers each year they’ve set up an extra, overflow parking lot on the east side of the highway overpass at I-5 Exit 271, and they’ll shuttle folks over for free between 9 p.m. Thursday and 9 a.m. Friday. And y’know what? It’s possible you may be passing by on your I-5 trip home from dinner, right? Which would make you smart, rather than crazy, to stop by and cash in on the madness.
