Bid to win a dream wedding package at Jupiter Hotel

You can’t buy love – and certainly not on eBay – but you can at least bid to win a crazy-cool wedding to be held in the DreamTENT in the courtyard of Jupiter Hotel on Sunday, October 10.
So many brides and grooms are eager to get married on 10-10-10 that the Jupiter Hotel has decided to solve the matter democratically: They’ve put together a fun TenTen20Ten Wedding Package to auction off on eBay, so one lucky couple can create the wedding of their dreams on this special tentastic day.
Couples can bid to win a wedding package that includes set-up and tear-down of the Jupiter Hotel DreamTent space (including furnishings and linens) which holds 400 people; a case of champagne and complimentary flutes; five free hotel rooms and $69 nightly rates for all other wedding guests; a Jupiter-style gift basket for the frisky bride and groom; and all-day, all-night use of the DreamSUITE (a mod space with a wet bar where the bride and groom can prep).
In addition to all that, the wedding package winners also will get extreme discounts from some of the city’s best bridal services. The hotel has gathered together florists, event planners, caterers, entertainers, bridal boutiques and more to offer the lucky couple up to 50 percent markdowns. Vendors include Mr. Formal, Cupcake Jones, Lisa Warninger Photography, Anne Olena Graphic Design, Documart, West Coast Event Production, Mixwell Northwest DJ Service, PDX Pedicab and the best from Portland’s Distillery Row.
