Blush Beauty Bar wants us to get a glamorous start on 2010, and we’re into it! Economic woes in 2009 meant putting beauty on the back burner for many of us (trim your own bangs, much?), but now let’s get a jump on a whole new year of looking hot and feeling good.
Make an appointment with Blush Beauty Bar for a New Year’s Eve makeover between 10 a.m. and 6 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 31, and the playful beauty boutique will help you avoid what they call the “midnight makeup messies” – in other words, your gorgeous face will last all night.
Deborah Haynes, owner of Blush Beauty Bar, said this year’s New Year’s Eve makeovers will involve a lot of mysterious, smoky eyes, glitter and shimmer, fake eyelashes (“you need long lashes to bat while flirting”) and glossy lips.
“New Year’s Eve is the most social night of the year,” said Haynes. “Everyone is out on the town at parties, restaurants, bars and clubs. You’re meeting new people and you want to look beautiful – who knows who you’ll be kissing at midnight?“
