Nordstrom introduces new online Wedding Shop

Seattle-based designer department store Nordstrom today announced the launch of its new and expanded online Wedding Shop, plus in-person wedding stylists in 10 locations across the country (sorry, Portland, the closest is situated in Seattle).
No matter – you can still visit the online Nordstrom Wedding Shop for dresses and apparel for your entire wedding party, and now you can get more specialized one-on-one service from a Wedding Stylist via live chat or by calling 1-888-300-1295. Some aspects of the Wedding Shop are similar to its previous format (namely, easy and affordable designer bridal shopping), but now there are specialized wedding apparel experts to help.
Bridal shoppers will be happy to see search functions categorized by wedding party role, with a drop-down menu for brides, grooms and groomsmen, bridesmaids, mother of the bride, flower girls and ring bearers.
The current spring bridal collection includes a variety of long and short gowns from BCBG Max Azria, Sue Wong, Laundry by Shelli Segal, David Meister, Adrianna Papell and more. Grooms will find suits from Boss, Armani Collezioni and others. Plus, find special occasion shoes (we love the timeless Kate Spade Kellis pump with a gently frayed flower on the toe), handbags, jewelry and even honeymoon attire. We take thee, we do!
P.S., we almost forgot to mention – Women’s Wear Daily just announced Urban Outfitters will launch a new bridal line for 2011, designed by its sister brand Anthropologie. The line will include dresses, shoes, jewelry, invitations and more. Hipster wedding, anyone?
