Two neat Project Runway 7 viewing parties Thursday

We don’t need to pick sides between the two Portland-area competitors on Project Runway Season 7. But we do need to pick from which side of the river to watch fashion’s most exciting season premiere, airing on Livetime TV at 10 p.m. this Thursday, Jan. 14.

The Neat Sheet and friends will be taking over Tanker Bar in Southeast Portland, where we can watch the show on four big-screen TVs. Tanker is a favorite low-key neighborhood joint, and they seem excited about being overrun with stylish women for the night. They’ve even agreed to whip up a special PR7 cocktail just for the occasion. We’ll be gathering around 8:30 p.m. to mix and mingle before the show starts.

Over in Vancouver, Wash., Anne Bocci (owner of Anne Bocci boutique) will co-host another viewing party at The Rock Wood Fired Pizza & Spirits, with local PR7 competitor Seth Aaron Henderson in attendance. (Janeane Marie Ceccanti is opting to watch at home privately with friends and family).

Wherever you decide to watch, be sure to two-fist your Heidi Klum cocktails and root for both local designers, who are helping put Portland fashion on the map. Or at least on the tube.
