Project Runway premiere party with Janeane Marie

This just in: The Neat Sheet (that’s us!) and stylish local marketing company CRAVE Portland will co-host an informal viewing party for tonight’s premiere of Project Runway Season 7, with a special appearance by Portland designer Janeane Marie Ceccanti. PR7 will air on four big-screen TVs at Tanker Bar in Southeast Portland, and the public is invited to come watch the show and enjoy special PR7 Manhattan cocktails in a casual setting with some of Portland’s most devoted fashion fans.
Janeane Marie Ceccanti (right), one of the two Portland-area designers selected to compete on Lifetime TV’s popular Project Runway fashion reality show this year, will make an appearance at Tanker Bar from 8:30 p.m. to 9:15 p.m. to meet and greet friends and fans before retiring to watch the show privately.
“I love Portland and I’m excited to be on the show, both to help further Portland’s place in the apparel industry and to help build my career doing what I love most,” Ceccanti said. “I’m a little nervous, so I’m going to watch privately, but I’ll stop by Tanker and say hello to everyone right before!”

In a couture coup for Portland’s design community, Seth Aaron Henderson (right) of Vancouver, Wash., also was selected to compete on Project Runway 7. We can’t wait to see if another PDX talent will follow in the fashion footsteps of previous Portland winner Leanne Marshall, who won Project Runway in Season 5. Best of luck to both designers!
