Want to win a pampering weekend in Oregon wine country? We’re talking glamorous accommodations at The Allison Inn & Spa in Newberg (above), plus $250 worth of spa services, dining and tours of two Willamette Valley wineries? Um, yes!
The Willamette Valley Wineries Association (WVWA) has put together a brilliant Wine Country Getaway Raffle to benefit the Ecotrust Farm to School Program, which supports healthy school lunchrooms (ie, regionally grown food in the cafeteria!) and provides students with hands-on agriculture and food-based learning opportunities.
All you need to do is purchase a raffle ticket for $5.50 from www.willamettewines.com, then settle back with a nice big glass of Willamette Valley Pinot Noir and wait for them to choose a random lucky winner on Friday, March 19. The winner will receive a gift certificate for The Allison Inn & Spa which is good through June 30, 2011.
“Partnering with Ecotrust is a great way for the WVWA to give back to the community while supporting a program that promotes healthy food and kids in schools,” said Executive Director of WVWA, Sue Horstmann, “and reflects our respect for the farming community.”
We have all kinds of respect for farmers, fine wine and pampering spa retreats, right? Let’s show it!
P.S. It’s a little early to remind you, but in case you want to jot this down – this year’s Memorial Weekend in Wine Country touring event will take place Saturday, May 29 to Monday, May 31.
