“Infinity Scarves.” The name alone suggests this hot fall trend actually will last forever. And why shouldn’t it? These versatile, loopy neckwarmers put your boring old straight scarves to shame. We first talked about the popular circle scarves in our fall accessories roundup, but now it’s cold outside, baby, so let’s take a closer look.
Kim Lane, owner of awesome Pearl District accessories boutique Sole, says infinity scarves are an easy way to add instant, no-fuss style and stretch your shopping dollars.
Sole will host a series of Friday fashion workshops from this Friday, Nov. 6 through Friday Dec. 18, to talk about such trends and how to use affordable accessories to update your look. Stop by this Friday to check out Sole’s latest tube scarves (right), starting at $29.
We’ve rounded up a few more of Portland’s cutest circle scarves so you’ll have plenty of options to wrap yourself in this season. Indie boutique Frank James on East Burnside just received a huge shipment of chunky, knit infinity scarves (left) in lush shades of navy, teal, purple, charcoal and black for $28.
We also love the elegant cashmere infinity wrap scarves from Portland designer Maytee, who happens to be hosting a spring trunk show tonight from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Parallel. And guess what else we found at Parallel? There’s a chunky, wool knit circle scarf by Lutz & Patmos (right) that actually doubles as a tube top! So now you can stretch your fashion dollars right along with your top. For, like, ever!
