Dear patient PDX fashion folks, it’s finally official. After months of speculation and many unofficial reports, H&M today announced it will continue its U.S. expansion into the Pacific Northwest, opening a new store at downtown Portland’s Pioneer Place mall in Fall 2010.

Darn, those Swedes are tight-lipped! Rumors have circulated in local fashion circles for years about an H&M store coming to Portland, but until today we haven’t been able to confirm the speculation.
